[Getting started](https://help.traact.com/getting-started?hsLang=en) # How to: Add and Manage a Vendor ## In this article, you'll find a detailed, step-by-step guide to managing and adding a vendor. By the end, you'll be equipped to efficiently handle vendor information and improve your organizational processes. ### **Creating Vendor Profiles on Traact** **Step 1:** Select the ***"Vendors"*** optionfrom the Management section; **Step 2:** On the Vendors page, you can filter vendors, edit or delete existing profiles, and create new ones. Note that you can leverage the ***External User*** functionality under the ***User Management*** module to limit the vendor members access to your workspace. Find more details under [User Management vs Contact Book Guide](https://help.traact.com/en/articles/9999588-user-management-vs-contact-book?hsLang=en). - **Email Address** - **Phone Number** - **Tags**: select an existing tag or create a new one. - **Notes** - **Members:** available in the drop-down menu if the vendor member is added as a user in your workspace.
