Custom License Status & Triggers

You can define status triggers within the license module to ensure the appropriate License Status is reflected in a license artifact, based on your specific workflows. Keep in mind that any changes to these settings will affect all licenses and permits in your workspace.

The Traact License Module has default status triggers for the following statuses:

  • Active/Good Standing

  • Active/Renewal Required

  • Pending

  • Past Due

  • Expired

  • Expired/Renewal Required

How to set custom status triggers:

Step 1: Within the License Module, select “Automations” > “Status Triggers”

 

Step 2: All system default status trigger details will be displayed. Select the three dots to the right of the status trigger and select “Edit” to customize the status triggers or “Reset to default” to reset the trigger to the original system default.

 

Step 3: After selecting Edit, you can customize the conditions based on when, the rule, and the date type.

Step 4: You have the option to add additional conditions by selecting “+ Add condition” or you can exit this trigger by selecting “Save”.

 

Step 5: Ensure you select “Done” to save the configured triggers.

 

Once complete, you can filter all your Licenses and Permits by Status, and custom Statuses are also included.
